PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

This product is fibrous, containing a high percentage of woody material and composted tree trimmings.  It is highly effective for mulching and erosion control.  Premium Landscape mulch has been tested and is weed free (Testing data from Soil in Plant Lab).  It is commonly used for garden paths, mulching tree basins, and large non-landscaped areas such as roadway medians and rights of way.  If placed sufficiently dense, it will retard weed growth while providing the other benefits of mulching.  Application rates are recommended at a minimum of 3 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet, which will provide 1 inch of mulch depth, to as much as 12 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet, which will provide up to 4 inches of mulch depth.

 

 

 

SPECIFICATION:

 

This mulch shall consist of a fibrous, recycled mixture of various wood and tree trimmings.

-Acid in reaction, max. pH 5.0

-Maximum ash 15% based on dry weight

-Minimum moisture of 35% at time of delivery based on fresh weight.
