NITROLIZED FIR SHAVINGS

 

 

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

 

Organic Solutions Nitrolized Fir Shavings is a wood fiber soil amendment and conditioner. Its organic component (i.e.; wood shavings) is a recycled component of the lumber industry.  When our Nitrolized Fir Shavings are mixed into the soil, water and nutrient retention are improved.  In addition, soil particle separation and aeration are enhanced, thus reducing compaction.

 

 

PRODUCT USES:

 

As an amendment for turf areas, spread 4 to 5 cubic yards per 1,000 square ft. and rototill to a depth of 4 to 6 inches into existing soil.  For general use such as flowerbeds, backfilling trees and shrubs, mix 2 parts existing soil with 1 part shavings.
