PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

This product contains a high percentage of recycled ground lumber.  It is light and easy to handle either through air blowing equipment or by hand.  Because of its ease of application, it is commonly used around new plantings on large and small landscaped areas.  It can also be used for garden paths, mulching tree basins and raised planter bed toppings.  Fir Chip Mulch can be used anywhere where the landscape architect wants a beautiful finished look added to new plantings.  This product will reduce the evaporative moisture loss from bare ground if a sufficiently dense layer is established.  Application rates for this product are recommended at a minimum of 4 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet to as much as 15 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet.

The mulch shall consist of recycled lumber, fibrous wood material of various particle size.
