PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

Class A Topsoil is a special mixture of sand, silt and clay.  Our Class A Topsoil is un-amended, which provides excellent sandy loam topsoil with a consistent texture.

 

 

 

PRODUCT USES:

 

Class A Topsoil is intended primarily for use wherever a Class A is needed.  Class A Topsoil can also be blended with a variety of soil amendments for back-filling planting holes for trees and shrubs.  To enhance the structure of Class A Topsoil for improved plant growth, it is recommended that a quality organic amendment (such as our Envirohumus/Compost) be incorporated at the rate of 20 to 30% by volume.  A pre-plant fertilizer and gypsum are recommended.
