GREEN & TEE

 

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

Green & Tee is an organic based material that is sized for spreader application (0 to ¼") for both old and new greens.  When topdressing greens with Green & Tee for the first time, a mixture of 50% sand and 50% Green & Tee is recommended.  Green & Tee should be thoroughly mixed with the sand before application.  After aerating the greens, apply the sand and Green & Tee mixture with a spreader to a depth of not less than ⅛" and not more than ¼".  Immediately sweep the mixture in with either a mat drag or broom.  Do not allow the material to lay on the green or tee for any length of time, and follow this sweeping immediately with a thorough watering.  For succeeding applications, a mixture of 80% sand and 20% Green &Tee is recommended.

 

In re-seeding tees, excellent results have been obtained by top-dressing with the sand and Green & Tee mixture.  Follow the above instructions for incorporation (sweeping in) and watering.  Before you reseed an entire tee try a small portion of a tee varying the rate of material.  This extra time will pay off later on by conserving material that would be lost due to over application of material and by more quickly germinating the seed that you have placed down the Tee.

 

 

 

*Important Storing Information:   For the best results when using Green & Tee, we suggest that the material not be piled in too tight a pile prior to use.
